March 30th, 2011 - Land Day. A day which Palestinians commemorate the 1976 Strikes against the Israeli government’s appropriation of thousands of acres of Palestinian land. Since then, the Israeli government has continually suppressed and abused the Palestinian People as well as denying them BASIC human rights in land which is rightfully theirs. Some facts:

• Palestinians are not afforded the right to move from town to town and are usually forced to stay within their own city limits.
• The Israeli Government has killed nearly TEN TIMES the number of Palestinians as Israelis killed by terrorist bombings.
• The US gives nearly 9 Million dollars to Israel DAILY, that’s your tax money folks.
• Nearly 6,000 Palestinians are being held captive by Israel and 24,000 Palestinian homes destroyed to make room for Israeli settlers.
• The wall which Israel has built between Palestine and Israeli settlements cuts off A THIRD of all Palestinians from health care, and denies over 200,000 people from immunization and hospital access.
• The Red Cross Society, Amnesty International, The United Nations, World Council of Churches, and European Union have condemned the “Apartheid Wall” and called for its destruction.
